Papers of the Ad-hoc Committee on Student Affairs pertaining to the student strike of 1970 [manuscript], 1970.

The collection chiefly concerns the student occupation of Maury Hall (the Naval ROTC building) and contains correspondence; affidavits, charges and notes on interviews with students involved; memoranda including notes by future University president Frank L. Hereford; photographs; broadsides; newsclippings; a tape recording; and related material. The tape contains approximately 10 minutes of statement and questioning regarding the Maury Hall takeover. The remainder contains Federal District Court hearings on racial imbalance.
